AI in different fields of daily life
AI stands for artificial intelligence. AI refers to the process of imitating human intelligence in machines, allowing them to carry out tasks that would normally require human intelligence. These tasks involve learning, reasoning, problem-solving, perception, and comprehension of natural language. AI systems fall into two main types and are meant to emulate human cognitive functions: Narrow and weak AI, and general and strong AI. Narrow AI us designed for a specific task or set of closely related task. It functions within a constrained, preset range of capabilities. Autonomous cars, recommendation systems on e-commerce websites, and virtual personal assistants like Alexa or Siri are a few examples of narrow artificial intelligence. General AI, also known as Strong AI or Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), refers to AI systems with human-like cognitive abilities. Like a human, these systems are capable of understanding, learning, and adapting to a wide range of tasks and conditions. As of my most recent knowledge update in January 2022, true AGI has not yet been attained, and research and development on the subject is still ongoing.
Slides and Presentations
Despite being the first group to present and having less time for preparation, research, and presentation, group 1's presentation was highly informative because they were well-prepared, professional, and efficient. The presenter made it a breeze to follow along and comprehend. The power point created by Group 1 was appropriate and sufficient overall. Group 1 members all had a thorough understanding of the subject matter, and it was evident from their research that they took the time to carefully break down and simplify each their own sections in the presentation. I believe that took this project very seriously. It was obvious to me while watching group 1 present that they practiced a lot before delivering their presentation. Group 1's presentation was undoubtedly excellent, but it also contained a great deal of slides in addition to being excellent. The presentation was extremely tedious because it seemed like there was a lot of information to take in. Although, it was a lot of information I understand it was not group 1's fault that's just how the presentation were supposed to be, that why they were split up into 2-3 classes. Nevertheless, group one was put together very professionally overall.
A couple days after group 1 presented, my group, group 2, gave our presentation. Speaking for myself, I tried to make my slides more quick but informational, so I had to make some last-minute changes to my own portion of it. Like group 1, I also chose to make it more structured and polished, but with a unique twist. My learning style is more visual-oriented. In order to highlight the meaning of specific words and phrases, my portion of the presentation included a couple pictures. Our group as a whole was organized and informative. Our group along with others interview people relating to our topics to get real life experiences and current fields of our lives where AI is being used. Our groups presentation was undoubtedly excellent, but it also contained a lot of words in addition to being excellent. The presentation was lengthy because it seemed like there was a lot of reading. Nevertheless, our group came together overall with great professionalism and execution.
Presentations by Groups 2 and 3 were made two days apart. Group 3 had a bit of extra time to complete their presentation with all the elegant details. Group 3's presentation was highly adaptable, and it was partially inspired by groups 1 and 2. I thought group 3's presentation was both interesting and well-done. In my view, group 3 could have done a better job working together as a team to smooth the transitions from one person's slide to another. It is kind of the same issue they had last time but it improved tremendously.
Overview

To summarize the presentations and slides, all of the groups did a stupendous job. Because of all the groups and their presentations I learned that AI is revolutionary and has a profound effect on numerous areas of our daily lives. It is essential in an array of fields. For example, education, mental health, economy, sports, careers, and social life. I also learned that AI's integration into daily life presents both opportunities and challenges, emphasizing the need for responsible and ethical AI development.
